We have been using the Cobb for several years now and love it. Such a cost effective way of cooking and like a BBQ has a bit of magic about it. Unlike a BBQ it's easy to clean and transport. We always take it on holiday and last year cooked/smoked a whole crab on it. What's not to like!

A joint of pork or ham works particularly well, especially with added marinade in the moat and woodchips for smoking.
And it is easy to clean.
Needed supplies before a bank holiday weekend and typically left it too late. They were excellent in their customer service and it arrived in time!

I have been using a Cobb cooker for many years, from family camping trips to small barbecues in the garden. I loved the flexibility and difference the Cobb made to camp cooking. eating a full chicken roast dinner on the side of a Welsh mountain to beef stew on the Scottish coast. Then my son decided he would like to take over he Cob to use with his family. so we were forced into a difficult design. Not if we should buy a new one for us to use, (that was a given), but which one....... we opted for the same one as before , but in the kit with all the different accessories. Quite a bit to carry around, however plan your menu ahead, and only take the bits you need. Steaks have never tasted so good, and the frying pan has made breakfast so much more fun. The only problem now is that my daughter is looking at with green eyes for her family....
My experience is mixed. I love the cobb's versatility, transportability and how good it is a cooking food. The bottom tray that holds the coals rusted through despite being well cared for. It had to be repaired which was not expected, working well again with repair.
